The Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its 2008 Business Excellence Awards. Nominations must be received by Friday, November 7th.

Nominated businesses must be Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce members in good standing.

The Chamber will recognize members in the following categories:

Friendliest Business

Honoring a business with great customer service and friendliness

Community Service

Honoring a business that gives back to the community

Best New Business

Honoring a business that opened in 2008

Business Achievement (company employing less than 10 employees)

Honoring a business that has had outstanding achievement

Business Achievement (company employing more than 10 employees)

Honoring a business that has had outstanding achievement

Businessperson of the Year

Honoring an outstanding individual who has contributed significantly to the

success of a business

Restaurant of the Year

Honoring an outstanding restaurant who has provided value to the community

Best Company Website

Honoring a company who utilizes website technology to showcase their business

Non-Profit Achievement

Honoring a non-profit with outstanding achievement

A committee will review the nominees and choose the winners. Finalists will be notified prior to the event and the winners will be announced at the reception on Thursday, December 2nd at 6 p.m. at Whitney Oaks Golf Club.
