"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke)
Send a message to the tyrants in Washington. Their attack on our Constitution needs to be answered. Tomorrow, September 10th is the day that a petition to impeach needs to be on Pelosi's desk. Let them all know that we will not roll over and accept the abuses of power that this administration has fostered on the nation and the world. The only reason they have yet to be indicted is by invoking executive privilege. The impeachment isn't just for Bush it also includes Cheney, Rice and the higher echelons of this rouge administration.
Speak up on face the consequences of inaction and apathy. Give future tyrants a warning. Go to: www.kucinich.us/

ThosPayne, glad you are using the Chunga moniker again. It is less stupid than the misspelled one.
How stupid can you be? Impeaching a president when he is only a few months from retirement. Sheesh!
I appreciate that you are showing people just how radical you are.
RT, You think I am ThosPayne? Thanks for the compliment, he is much admired.
chunga-I'd hop on board if I thought there was a snowball's chance in Hell. This will be blocked at all costs. Bush has become the elephant in the GOP's living room. They all pretend he isn't there. Thats bad enough, but now we have a chance of 8 more years of the same. Bush's mini me has hit the jackpot by picking an attractive woman to run with. Our society values looks, and the issues are no longer important.
And R_T, please tell me you are smarter than that. It's not about how long he has left. It's about the shame of being impeached. He's not bright enough, nor does he have the insight to feel shame about the mess this country is in. So, Pelosi will try and help him with that.
Impeaching Bush is less about Bush than preserving and strengthening the Constitution. Impeachment forces the nation to judge actions of Bush in terms of the law of the land, the Constitution of the United States of America. No time is a bad time to impeach a President and the Impeachment process need not be completed while the Prsident is still in office.
Definitely contact Dennis Kucinich and demand impeachment; he is the only visionary in Washington and knows the meaning of impeachment.
Impeachment is our duty. Bush, Cheney, and others deserve a fair trial. The message must be sent. Thank goodness for men like Kucinich. I think he will be known as a man who wasn't afraid to do the right thing, a politician who actually worked for all of us and future generations of Americans. I believe this period of history will be viewed as very dark times. I'd like history to say we did something about it.
The founding fathers expected an executive who tried to overreach his authority, and expected the executive would be hampered and curtailed by the legislative branch... The Congress has basically renounced its responsibility to oversee and check an excessive executive.
On January 20th, 2009, if George W. Bush and Dick Cheney are not appropriately held to account, this Administration will hand off a toolbox with more powers than any President has ever dreamed of, more powers than the founders could have imagined. And that box may be handed to John McCain, Barack Obama or someone else. But whoever gets it, one of the things we know from experience is that once it is gained, elected officials will never willingly relinquish power.
Yawn....
Did you guys hear? It seems Bush STOLE the election too!

Salamander, the effort is to put Pelosi on notice that we the people have spoken. Please don't feel that there is no hope. This may be our last shot and she needs to be pushed into action.
I'm not a Bush fan but if Dennis Kucinich had enough proof that would satisfy his colleagues to pursue impeachment it would have happened in Bush's first term. This is a time when we need to keep our money in our pockets as impeachment is an expensive elusive endeavor that in this day and age will only serve to divide not unite the citizenry.
