Auburn arrest made in alleged knife attack
An Auburn man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly chasing his wife with a knife, according to the Auburn Police department. William Bryan Jr., 29, allegedly got into an argument with his wife of six months on the 1500 block of Mary Jane Court, which escalated into Bryan allegedly pushing the victim down a set of stairs. Police say he then went outside and vandalized the victim’s vehicle and then cut power to the residence and kicked the locked front door open and entered the home. Once inside the residence Bryan allegedly grabbed a knife and chased the victim from the residence. The victim was able to get away from Bryan and hid behind some outdoor furniture. Auburn Police later located Bryan hiding in a residence in the area of Park Drive and Galena Drive in Auburn. Bryan was booked into the Placer County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon, felony vandalism, as well as for a parole hold. Check back for more information on this story. ~ Staff report
