Bruce and Jeannie Sayre of Applegate stopped Saturday morning to watch the progress on the mural being painted as a community project on the wall of Rico’s Barber Shop on High Street. The project was conceived by eighteen year old Archie Warren of Auburn who organized, designed and coordinated the effort. Any community member who wanted to help paint was encouraged to participate. “It’s a little abstract at this point, but it looks like fun,” said Jeannie Sayre.
