A local historian has been reading all the old newspapers from the Auburn area and he came across these two articles about local fisherman taking salmon from the Auburn Ravine. They are both from the Placer Herald. The date of the first is 17 Nov 1917 and the second 24 Nov 1917

Fred Tuttle was an Auburn lawyer and Guy Lukens owned Luken's Hardware Store where Marilyn's Dress Shop is now located. Does anyone else know about the other gentlmen?
