Depressed FOX Press

Depressed FOX Press It appears that there is a big fight going on between the administration and FOX.. That’s perhaps good as freedom of the Press is a great thing in any democracy. About the FOX news network itself. Personally myself and my wife enjoy a great deal of FOX presentations. We really enjoy Sheppard Smith, and many of the regulars. Our dislike is in those who are what we call RABID reporters such as Hannity who is always screaming and carrying on as a mad man. And of course we are completely turned off by the Gush Rush who insults, make goofy noises and lingers on just to be a millionaire and suck in those who are too gullible to decide for themselves. The first time I recall listening to Rush he went on for almost ten minutes insulting a young teenager who had some acne problems and constantly called her ugly. That teen was the daughter of the Clintons. Why would he attack a young person like that? He is a big bully who is out of control however We do admit it is hard to argue with anyone who claims to be excellence in broadcasting and Oh Yeah is “On loan from God”. DUH!!!! Only an inflated egotist would make those remarks. Paul T. McDaniel, Auburn

Mr. McDaniel,
I have'nt listened to Rush Limbaugh for quite some years as he got a little too "over the top" for me. But in fairness to the entertainer you mis-quoted him sir. His statement was "with talent on loan from God", which to me stated he was giving credit to God for his success and/or talent. I would most likely agree however he is as you state "an inflated egotist", however he did raise some poiniant questions for conservative thinking Americans.
Just please try and be a little more "fair and balanced" befor you mis-quote someone in the future.
And thank God we all have the right to turn that dial to anything we want to hear.......for now.
But given the exposure of Obama's radical leftist media control czars and their agenda to limit what can be broadcast on both internet and airwaves we might not be able to hear a Limbaugh or Hannity if we choose to. I don't listen much to either of them anymore, but that's MY choice --- NOT the government's or some uber left hate group. If I choose Glen Beck and Michael medved I want to be damm sure that they are available when I turn that dial.
As for the other end of that dial, they can listen to Michael Moore, AlBore, or any other spokespersons for that ideology. I'll defend that right as I always have. But, don't try to limit or displace MY choices.
As for the majority people, I think the marketplace has spoken very clearly.
Like many.. I pick and choose which channels. I have favorites on many channels... Fox CNN PBS as well as local channels. Its a dangerous thing if the Government ever controls our media.
Paul, First take a deep breath and relax. Then calmly turn off the t.v. or radio and do not listen to those whom you do not like. There now isn't that better.. you exercised your right of freedom of choice. Such a simple problem to solve without government intervention.
I'm not a frequent Limbaugh listener, but I do get a kick of how he likes to pick on Rio Linda! I agree with Deja_View's assessment of "Screeching Sean" and when he starts getting to that point...to where he won't let his guests get a word in edgewise (or let them finish their thought), then the MUTE button or Prev Chan buttons get pushed! It is entertaining to catch segments of CNN and MSNBC, but I hope this president does not dump his most entertianing employee, Robert Gibbs...who seems to be giving Baghdad Bob a run for his dinar!
