Pitbull ‘ban’ like racial profiling

The banning of pitbulls as suggested by Quintin Bohnet, (Reader Input, Nov. 5) and many others, is known in some circles as racial profiling. The politically correct among us will no doubt be outraged at such a suggestion. Perhaps (letter writer) Jack Sanchez will insist that it is wrong to treat one ethnic group, no matter how homicidal, differently from any other group, no matter how benign. Perhaps (letter writer) Ron Lowe will lead a protest march insisting on equal treatment for all canine Americans. ROGER BARRETT, Auburn

Even the kiddie hunt subject is looking good at this time when compared to the dog subject. We have all kinds of laws, people should abide by them and if not enforcement should follow. All dogs should be required to bark in English though.
