The new Young and Junior Miss Auburn Queens have been crowned.

Gabrielle Anderson, the 10-year-old daughter of Jaime and Greg Anderson, was named Young Miss Auburn for 2010.

Gabby is a fifth-grade student at St. Joseph’s School, where she plays basketball and volleyball.

Gabby plans to start an asthmatic foundation for children to help them learn to control their asthma, so that they may participate in sports and other physical activities.

Gabby will receive a $175 scholarship.

Samantha Slade, the 11-year-old daughter of Tammy and Brian Slade, was named Junior Miss Auburn.

Samantha is a sixth-grade student at E.V. Cain Middle School.

She enjoys competitive soccer and playing the guitar. Samantha is starting the “Cleats to Crowns” foundation, which will raise money to help kids purchase the necessary items to participate in athletics and pageants. Samantha will receive a $250 scholarship.
