The Friends of Applegate Library would like to thank all those in the community who supported our annual book and bake sale last weekend whether by donations of books, baked goods, or raffle items or by their purchases at the sale.

Proceeds were considerably better than the past two years, and we are pleased to be in a good position to continue our pledge of regular purchases of books and other library materials for Applegate Library as well as our support of the Summer Reading Program for school-age children.

A hearty thanks to our neighbors in Applegate, Meadow Vista, Colfax, Auburn and beyond.
