Feud with neighbor puts Tahoe area man behind bars
Olympic Valley man gets 360-day jail sentence over snowplow dispute
Jonathan Lancaster

A 53-year-old man who wouldn’t let a feud over a snowplow with his neighbor blow over is now sitting in jail.

Jonathan Nelce Lancaster of Olympic Valley was sentenced to 360 days in Placer County Jail and received a four-year suspended state prison term after he was found guilty of stalking and continually violating restraining orders in a feud with his neighbor, Mark Vierra, according to Art Campos, Placer County District Attorney spokesman.

Vierra and Lancaster reportedly would get into physical fights over Lancaster’s belief that Vierra was supposed to clear his roadway, Campos said.

Lancaster did file a protective order against Vierra but Campos did not know if that order was granted nor if Vierra ever violated any terms.

Once released from jail, Lancaster will serve five years on probation and will have to move out of his house to avoid any future contact with his neighbors.

Lancaster will also have to pay $8,805 in restitution, fines and court fees.

On Sept. 28, a jury determined Lancaster was guilty of stalking and perjury, both of which are felonies. He was also convicted of seven misdemeanor counts of disobeying the restraining orders.

Lancaster was given credit for serving 339 days in the county jail, meaning he will be released this month when he reaches 360 days.

He will then have four days to move his possessions out of his home.

Maybe the county can put him to work shoveling snow.

Man, if there ever was a story with missing pieces...this is it. Please give us info that demonstrates Lancaster deserved 360 days...if that's his actual time served, the original sentence must have been substantially more.

I wonder if Eddie was involved?

Who is Eddie?

It was a joke harleyrider. I was poking fun at another blogger.
