NO!!!
Definite YES... You want Fire/EMS at your door every time you call 911, whether you have the flu, weak battery in smoke detector, neighbor pouring paint in gutter, etc..... The fire department IS the city after 5pm.... Take the time to review the incident call volume and then look at what is a REAL emergency.... Hey Dummies !!! 911 is the nations health system now !!! Everyone call the Fire Dept for every little whine they have..... So quit calling the fire dept for stupid stuff or PAY THEM what they deserve to continually answer your whines!!
or have the Fire Dept quit responding to public service calls- no more lock-outs, no more picking you up on the floor,fire inspections..
Trust me... its easier to pay for the quality service and be safe than to be cheap, maybe have to eat serious crow later....
Has the Auburn Fire Chief taken a pay cut ? reduced benefits ?
