Fake snow brings out real riders
Auburn Journal photography by Ben Furtado

Boreal Mountain Resort is the only place where skiers and snowboarders can actually ride the white stuff this early in the season. With only one lift open, the Castle Peak Quad will take people to the top of the man-made single run offering a wide variety of terrain including two jumps, rails, a mini wall ride along with a groomed lane for skiers and riders.

Hours of operation is 7 days a week from 9 am-4 pm and cost for an all day pass is $30. For more information visit rideboreal.com.
