Since there is not a story from the Aburn Jounal I will add lib. Headlines "Placer finally faces a good team and looses". We were out hit, out played, and out coached. Placer Band had a great halftime show.
Not so sure you can say Placer "lost" (not "looses") as much as Lincoln WON. It was obviously a great effort by both teams, but it looks like Lincoln has one of its best teams ever.
You never know what can happen on that field. Just look at the Del Oro/Woodcreek game. 48 minutes is just a blip in our lives...a mere grain of sand on the beach...but it can either be left behind or become a boulder that always gets in the way. All of these teams should be praised for their hard work.
I don't agree. A good team? Yes. We were not out hit or out played, and certainly not outcoached, but we were called for some stupid penaties that hurt dearly. Several aspects of the Hillmen's game that I believe need to be addressed is their predilection to block in the back when the play is twenty yards away and going strong. And, carry a football like a football, not a loaf of bread.

Amen on that Chris,
One close loss and the Arm chair QB's like Placerbaby come out and start popping off. What a shock.
