Streetwise: Placer vs. Lincoln prediction

What is your prediction for tonight’s Placer vs. Lincoln football game featuring two undefeated 7-0 teams?

Deric Rothe, Auburn Journal senior editor/general manager
Placer is going to win a tough game. The Lincoln community is rightfully proud of the Zebras' 7-0 start, but Placer has too many weapons and is very well coached. The Zebras are a good team, but they are going to fall to the mighty Hillmen at LeFebvre stadium. Placer 35, Lincoln 21.

Its Lincoln all the way. Go Zebras!!!

nice one Mayor of Auburn....You and your Hillmen will regret that you said such a condescending view point of their team. Maybe Joey will tell you to keep your opinions to yourself as it might just inspire the Zebras to make them eat YOUR words. Please come to the game so that you can see for yourself that you had the wrong view of the well coached Zebras. I will leave two tickets at Will Call for ya, enjoy.

Placer 42, Lincoln 14- The Hillmen Offense is a scoring machine, Gotzmer, Dyer and Turney are going to have a huge night.

BTW - The Freshmen stomped Lincoln last night 49-7. Mojo, have a delicious tri-tip and enjoy the game, we'll look for your comments tomorrow when your 7-1.

HIllmen can subdue Fighting Zebras.

I hope that it is a great game and both teams do well but of course the Hillman win in the end.

RichCrane: 42? Try 6!

Oh, and I wonder if coda enjoyed that tri tip while on the way to 8-0?

Congratulations Lincoln for a great game against a very, very good team.

Now, go out and make the area proud. Don't look ahead and let down like D.O did at Woodcreek 'cause now everyone is gunning for you.

Are these remarks by Mike and Bill another example of the dynamic leadership of the Auburn City Council and it politicness?

Mayor of Auburn: I am guessing the Placer coach didn't have to worry about running up the score too much. Why the world would you say that when the game was between 2 undefeated teams?

Overestimate your team much?
