Operation Christmas Child get ready for national collection week Nov 16-23
Operation Christmas Child is getting ready for their national collection week, Nov 14-23. It is estimated that over 8 million boxes will be collected for the world wide gift distribution to needy children who are vicitms of war, famine, povery, or disaster. "This is the seventh year we have been involved in packing boxes. My kids love picking out items they know will go to a needy child in another part of the world. There have been a few times when we recieved a letter back from the person who recieved our shoe box gift! "
