Foresthill High could not hold off the defending Sac-Joaquin Section Division VII champions Friday night. The Wildfires saw their four-game winning streak come crashing down with a 55-0 loss to the Pride.

Foresthill will hit the road on Friday to face Sacramento Metro League power Vacaville Christian.

Lindhurst 16, Golden Sierra 8 at Garden Valley — The Blazers doubled up the Grizzlies, who fell to 0-6 on the season. Lindurst won its first game of the year.

Golden Sierra will try to get in the win column Friday when it hosts winless Encina.
