The Hillgals played stong all day and hardly worked up a sweat beating West (25-7, 25-13), Cougars (25-6, 25-16), and Notre Dame (25-14, 25-12). The Championship match was against Pleasant Grove, where Placer lost the first game 25-22, came back for a win in the second 25-21, and lost the final game 16-14. It was an exciting match with great rallies and tight play. The Hillgals were just unable to close it out but played well as a team and look forward to continued play with the regular season this week!
