The 49er United Kickin’ Chickens under-14 soccer team took first place at the Rotary Ore Cart Classic in Nevada City last weekend, outscoring their opponents 11-0 in four games. They beat the Elk Grove Cyclones 2-0 in the championshp game. From left to right in the bottom row are: Lauren Runte, Halle Ralls, Emilee Klug, Macaylea Mitchell, Amanda Moore and Lauren Young.
