Pamela Harris, right and Sophie Obregon will be boosting their egg supply at their Meadow Vista home by purchasing baby chicks at Echo Valley Ranch Monday morning. Harris holds a Welsummer chick under the heat lamp, which produce large burgundy colored eggs while Sophie holds Silver Seabright chicks, which produce smaller brown eggs. Chicks are sold for only $2.50 each.
